1. INCEPTION:
This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of SDE and traditional classroom-based education.
I. ONLINE CLASS:
Online learning is also referred to as distance learning as it does not takes place in a traditionally oriented classroom setting. It is a part of the digitalization of various aspects of today’s world. As a result of this digitalization, a student can collaborate with other students in one place to study the subject of their choice without going anywhere. For this purpose, they usually pay someone to do my class for me to reap the maximum benefits it.
This can be done in the comfort of their homes through the use of various electronic devices like laptops smartphones and tablets etc. Online learning or E-learning has gained huge popularity over the last decade or two.
II. TRADITIONAL CLASS:
Traditional class is an age-old concept where a teacher teaches students in a particular way. Every culture, from all over the world, leaves deep imprints on its traditional setup of a classroom. It relies upon the presence of a student and not any other way around. The major concern of this setup is to teach the students irrespective of their interests in a specific topic.
2. A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS:
A detailed comparative analysis of both systems of education generates a valuable picture in terms of various perceptions. The preferences may vary greatly from one student to the other. Both systems have pros and cons. Some might have found online classes the most rewarding, while others may be those who miss on-campus experience.
However, the trend for online classes was ever-increasing each passing year. The process is further accelerated by the global pandemic. The social distancing practiced during that period forced the institution to ramp up this process which might have otherwise taken a certain time.
- A student can access videos openly without strictly following the specific time schedules. Students in an online class follow their own time frame in sharp contrast to a traditional class.
- Also, a student can access the most reputed teachers in their field from all corners of the world. They can resort to globally available online services like pay to take my class online from anywhere on the planet. Students around the globe come from different educational backgrounds with each of them attending a different high school (masteressaaywriters, 2020).
- However, we cannot completely disregard traditional education. By attending a physical class, students not only gain personal experience with the teacher but also receive practical skills that can benefit their future careers.
I. DISCRETIONARY SCHEDULE:
One obvious benefit of taking online courses is the flexibility it offers in its schedule. In today’s world, everyone runs short of time in some phase of life owing to greater engagements. So online class spares much time as compared to traditional classes as a student is not required to travel to some institution. A student can continue to work, manage his home, and attend classes at the same time. They have more flexibility to choose when to study, do their homework, listen to lessons, and more. The traditional course format often lacks flexibility. A student must attend classes in person, which usually involves travel and strict schedules.
II. SELF-CALCULATED APPROACH:
As mentioned above, online college classes offer students more independence in gaining an education. However, it requires a lot of self-discipline and self-motivation. In an online program, the students must be able to motivate themselves to complete the required reading and assignments. They must take responsibility for these tasks and must be able to manage and regulate their time.
While these skills are also essential in traditional classrooms, success in the online program depends on the particular ability to get motivated. If a student is lacking in self-discipline, he can opt for the available choice of a traditional class. But it is to be noted here that with the passage of time these strategies can be learned.
III. BETTER SOCIABILITY EXPERIENCE:
Some students might miss the peculiarities of a traditional class which include dorms, smart boards, and campus exploration. Some people like to meet their teachers and colleagues in person or they can have a better learning experience face-to-face. For such outgoing students, a traditional classroom model may help.
However, the current era cannot let a student rule out the available online options. It would be an underestimation of the concept of online courses in that they require no interaction. After all, the classmates and teachers are closer than in any other alternative setting. Online college courses also use collaborative resources such as whiteboard and video conferencing tools to encourage regular communication through brainstorming.
IV. FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS:
Online programs tend to offer more affordable learning options than traditional educational options. The research shows a wide difference between the expenditures on both types of education systems. This shows that enrolling in an online course gives students the opportunity to save a huge amount on tuition fees.
Although traditional education can be incredibly expensive, it offers real value for learning programs and access to other materials as traditional educational institutions usually offer live training or learning. Students may enjoy things like library use, sponsored field trips, and/or school meals. Nonetheless, these things can be a bit costly and students might end up consuming all that was spared for study purposes.
V. TOOLS OF A PRACTICAL SUBJECT:
Online classes can be a bit challenging in the case of practical subjects. Even when hands-on lessons are provided. Traditional education often offers a practical experience to all students who need to learn practical lessons. Necessary facilities and equipment in the laboratory for study and practical activities in chemistry, biology, dentistry, nursing, and medicine can be accessed in traditional classes only.
CONCLUSION:
In essence, each of these learning options has its fair share of challenges. It is about finding the option that best suits the educational needs of a student. It is better to weigh the worth of both and then decide which is better as per the objective preferences of the person. Consideration of all of the above factors may be of great help in deciding which system is more valuable for a student between the two.
